Joe, Been following your diary. You are doing an exceptional travelogue. I especially enjoyed your description of Aspen. You may not know that I have skiied Aspen every year for the last 20, at least, except for the year I broke my ankle in Heavenly, six weeks before my annual visit in 2000. I have skiied in Europe, New Zealand, Canada and many resorts in the US. There are none that equal Aspen. Locala and everyone who has enjoyed both seasons, agree that it more beautiful in the summer. I hope to get there in the summer in 2005. Bill's good friend owns a condo up the street from the Hotel Jerome. Some ski buddies and I are negotiating the possiblity of renting his place this winter for two weeks. Thanks for the memories. I could just imagine you taking in the beauty of place as I have enjoyed it for so many years. maz

Just thought I'd start things off. Are you going to track your combined golf score for the entire trip? I'd like to know what the cross country par is.
